Im just curious, an upgrade patch

Im just curious, I have an exe program that is about 10meg. And installed an upgrade patch that was about 950KB, but the new updated program was still about 10meg. Hows that work? Does it just change pieces of the old program? How does it do that, does it treat the program as a database or something?

Yes, the patch could have modified your 10Mb .exe file. To be sure, you could do a checksum of the .exe before and after the patch is applied. You can use this checksum tool to do this.
