Hi experts, i am reading about  Types of Errors but i do not understand
Connection Terminating Errors
and
Server Terminating Errors
and
Statement Terminating Errors


can you give me an example of when these errors occur?

enrique_aeo, as it appears you are studying for certification or some other course, it would be best to ensure you learn this to the fullest; therefore, I will provide a reference to MSDN on Database Engine Error Severities: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms164086.aspx. Further, think about what the word "terminating" means. View connection, server, and statement as scopes which get terminated.

Please read through the documentation along with my hints and post back you understanding of each if there is a still a doubt. We will guide you from there.
