I need to know the answers to the following questions please:

Is HTML 5.0 released officially and when?

What is the main difference between HTML 4.01 and HTML 5.0?

What is the main differnce between HTML 5.0 and XHTML?

is html 5 released or not ?
according to W3C it will be released in 2014 but I saw some books about html 5.
Please let me know

Its already released. Chrome6 and safari4 are already html5 compliant
