Postini API - Email search

Hi.
I've done a bit of research but couldn't find much out there.
We need to find a solution for searching emails through our entire Google Apps domain, using an API (the code has to be integrated in our CMS).
The only reason we migrated from Exchange to Google Apps is because we got promised Postini would provide an API for that.
Any idea?

I've looked at this before, though not in the last 12 months, and at that stage there was nothing available that I could find.
