batch file to move folders and filesto new folder

i need a batch script that will move a folder and all files in the folder to a new folder

example;
move C:\MyFiles  [ which has 3 folders and 6 files ] to C:\Backups

Have you tried move - it will do subdirs and files too as long as it is on the same drive:

move c:\myfiles c:\backups
