upload to server side

dear experts ..
i am working  on a project using flex .
i have a data grid filled with data coming from mysql database .
i was requested to add an image from the local machine to the server side .
and the image has to be displayed to the next of each row ..
how can i do this ...
i hope i can find a complete guide for this problem .
note that i am using php ( wamp server )

Are you planning to store image as database data or upload to FTP attach URL link to the record?
