Hello,

I have a HP Proliant ML350 G4p, with 2x512 memory. I tried adding one more dimm 1 GB, but it did not accepted it. I noticed on the memory configuration that all the memory for this server should be in pairs.

So before I order 1 more dimm 1GB, I wanted to check:

Can I add two dimms 1gb each to the current configuration (2x512mb).

Thank you memory config

Hi,

Yes you need to ensure the memory is in pairs and yes you can mix the DIMM sizes (providing they are in pairs too)

Hope that helps.
