open the file rather than save companyweb

Hi Guys,

I am having a problem with companyweb. When I want to view any document on companyweb its ask me to save the file instead of viewing.

Please help.

It sounds like your talking about opening a file from a website through your browser... not sure how that relates to Excel. In any case, update your browser's actions for the file types in question.

In Firefox, for example, Tools > Options > Applications.

Thanks for your reply.

We are using IE 8 and I can view as well save any pdf/docx/xls files from browser but when its come to Companyweb then its give me option of either Save or Cancel.

Hi Just noticed that Docx and Xlsx are viewable but only Pdf not not.
