Outlook 2007 on Citrix

Hi

is it possible to install/upgrade office 2003 on (Citrix Presentation Server 3) to office 2007? unfortunatley, its an old version so could do with some help- if so how do i go about doing this - is it just an upgrade or do i have to uninstall office 2003 first - any pre-requisites etc....?

Personally, I've always tried to avoid an in-place upgrade, but I see no reason it can't be done.

On one of the Citrix servers, run through the Office Customization Tool (OCT) - you do this by running setup.exe /admin

Step through the settings you want. One of them should be upgrade behaviour.

The tool creates a network install point. You then place the MSP file created in the updates folder under the network install point (basically where the tool dumps the files).

ok, but is office 2007 installable on citrix PS3? any issues?

PS 3.0 is old but I don't recall there ever being an issue.

That said, I can only find references to Office 2007 on Citrix's site relating back to PS4.0

i tried to install office, it asking for server 2003 to be on sp2..
