Restore Window2008 AD backup

Hi Experts,

I had windows2008 enterprise AD installed on my Oracle V BOX. Now i took full backup and restore it on Network drive. Now i am not able to restore it on another OracleV BOX machine with same credentials.

For the restore are you running this?

no i want to restore it another virtual machine not on the same one . So i need step by step instructions.

yes i got the link. Mine issue is i took backup in a network drive. when i want to restore it on another machine with same parameters with restore mode then it is not able to detect that network drive where i restore it and if i try to provide full path for te same where backup is located it is not accepted that machine credentials .  Could u provide me any GUI mode link..

Did you see the "Performing a full server recovery of a domain controller by using the GUI" section of that doc? It goes through the recovery CD method which you can then point to the location of your full backup
