How can I set up email reporting in Server 2008 R2 Standard?

I need to set up the Server 2008 R2 Standard OS so that it will send an email once a day about the server's performance and usage and so that I will be alerted by email whenever the server is rebooted or has any other problems.

Please give me the exact steps on how to do this.
