How to configure voice QoS on dell switch

Dear Experts,

We use Mitel IP phone, and dell 3548P (as pure layer2 switch) as edge switch, and dell PC6248 as Core (layer3) switch. The Mitel by default will put Priority value 6 on all voice traffic, and priority 3 for voice signalling (call control), and chose vlan 100 as voice vlan. My question is  on edge switch (3548P), which way is the best  to configure QoS for voice, is voice vlan or classofservice; on core switch, which way is the best to configure QoS just for voice.

The QoS is mostly done on the Router for traffic leaving your local subnet.
This is what I have programmed on my local subnets - I have procurves but since no one answered your question I thought this might help.
vlan 100
   name "VOICE_VLAN"
   untagged A3     <-- this is the address of my call controller
   qos priority 7     <-- in my network all voice is priority 7
   tagged A1-A2,A4-A24,B2-B24,C1-C24,D1-D24,E1-E24,F1-F24   <-- these are combo ports - phone & PC together
   no ip address
   exit
