Setup 'Export to Excel' in Excel 2007 for https site

Hi,

I have a Windows 7 PC running IE8 and Office 2007.  When I try to export a table from our amazon account in IE8 it opens excel and puts some column header details in but not the data in the main table.

I suspect this is an issue with Https as 'export to excel' works perfectly on other non secure sites/tables.  I have tried the Web query tool in excel and I get an amazon message saying there was a problem and to go back to the previous page.

Are there any settings or trusts that need to be created to allow this to happen.  We have an old XP PC running Office 2003 without any problems.

Many thanks in advance

Jon

Hi,

Tried this without success, and it still appears as though the amazon table is not being detected as a table in the 'New Web Query' window.  There is no yellow box with a black arrow in it.

Thanks

Jon
