I've been searching for where I can download the latest VMware tools for ESXi host for Windows 2008 R2 VM

So far I can find a link. Can someone help me?

Just right click on your Windows 2008 VM and > Guest > Install/Upgrade VMware Tools

This it will install the VMware tools you have on your ESXi

But if your 'tools' are out of date, you'll get notified in vSphere Client. If they are, you can open the console to the VM -> click the VM menu item -> Guest -> then Install/Upgrade VMware Tools.

first mount DVD  window 2008 DVD  in your guest o.s  after  that   check your host  O.S Your DVD drive is connected with guest or not . than go >VM menu item -> Guest -> then Install/Upgrade VMware Tools.

after that vmware tool cd display on your host O.S
 

unzip that vmware tool after that install.. extracted vmware tool
