Hello,

I'm preparing a little hta page that will popup at users login and I'm wondering if it could be possible to show in that hta file an existing php file who does MySQL requests or perhaps to integrate the MySQL requests into the hta file?

I saw in some forums that the php might not work at all on hta...
any ideas?

Hi, I dont think PHP would be supported by the HTA, but you could try an iFrame, although it seems a bit shaky.

<html><head>

<HTA:APPLICATION
	APPLICATIONNAME="TestHTA"
	ID="TestHTA"
	BORDER="thick"
	BORDERSTYLE="normal"
	CAPTION="yes"
	CONTEXTMENU="no"
	INNERBORDER="no"
	MAXIMIZEBUTTON="yes"
	MINIMIZEBUTTON="yes"
	NAVIGABLE="yes"
	SCROLL="no"
	SCROLLFLAT="no"
	SELECTION="no"
	SHOWINTASKBAR="yes"
	SINGLEINSTANCE="yes"
	SYSMENU="no"
	WINDOWSTATE="normal">

<script language=vbscript>
Sub SetIFrame
	MyFrame.location.href = "http://www.google.com"
End Sub
</script>
</head>

<body>
<iframe id=MyFrame application=yes scrolling=no onload="SetIFrame" height="800" width="600"></iframe>
</body></html>

Open in new window

But VBScript can query the MySQL server if you just wanted to do that....
