xenApp performance on Win7 vs XP

I’ve just deployed Xenapp 6 through citrix web. I’ve got one business unit telling me they get good performance running the published citrix app on win7 and slow performance running it on WinXP machines.
I know there are a lot of factors that play into this, i.e. browser versions etc. Is there a known element to the questions they purpose? Has anyone discovered xenapp6 to run more efficiently on win7 verse XP, because of different browsers or?

Is everyone running the same Citrix Client/Receiver?  Are there XP/7 desktops at one location that have a different experience.  Browser version has nothing to do with it since that is just the way you get to the applications, after you've selected on it is controlled by the Citrix Client/Receiver.  Is there anything specific that is worse or just in general slower?

The Citrix plugin is pretty light unless your using more HDX features and redirection (Audio, Video, Flash, VOIP, etc.). Maybe thing just "feel" better assuming your 7 machines are newer hardware. Almost to vague to troubleshoot.  I don't know of any known "slow" issues with the client on XP. I would still suggest making sure they're all running the latest client.
