SpyBot S&D and MS MOSS2007

SpyBot Search & Destroy breaks MS SharePoint 2007

MS SharePoint 2007 & Word 2007 Popup

The non-profit i started volounteering at uses MS SharePoint for document management and editing. I receive an email indicating that a MS Word 2007 document is ready to edit. I click on the link in the email, and IE opens, and then the document is opened in Word. There is a button for "Edit this task" in the tool bars. This button should popup another window allowing comments to be made. This window appeared fine until i installed SpyBot S&D on my laptop. Now the window will not show up.

I have taken several tests with machines to determine what causes it. It breaks after i install S&D.  Uninstalling SpyBot S&D does not allow the settings to go back to the way they were, and the issue remains.

Any help would be appreciated. I like S&D but have to be able to have this window show up as well.

I have disabled the residents as well, with no avail.

Thanks

Does your browser allow pop-ups? If I remember right SpyBot turns this setting off in the browser, you may just need to allow pop-ups for this web site only.

I forgot I had this question still open.  I ran through all the typical pop up blockers and other itmes that may have been causing it with no luck.  With the process of elimination i eventually found that certain Immunizations was causing the problem.  Under Immunizations, I selected \SOFTWARE (Plugins) and undid the immunizations and the 'Edit Task' pop-up window started appearing again.

Then you need to request that this question be closed and award yourself the points :)
