Toshiba C655 BIOS password reset
Toshiba says I need to "use a jump wire to make a short circuit on M/B B500 location". Anybody know where B500 is on this MB? So far havent' found it under the RAM or under the kybd.
You need to download a service manual for this laptop, it should tell you in there where this location is. I have worked on a similar model of notebook and found it in the memory compartment, close to where the battery is. Did you contact Toshiba, or u just communicated to them via forum?

I have the service manual for this model. It tells me which jumper by number, but not where it's located.

Found It! very poorly labeled next to the RAM slot.
Look for a place on the mobo label clr, as it may not be labeled as a number b500
This website gives information how to reset bios passwords on various toshiba laptops. It has helped me on some models.

thats great, THat is where I thought I found it, often is covered with a piece of clear plastic so you need to use two needles to pierce the clear plastic and jumper the two points holding it for five seconds.
