Backup Exec 2010 - Global Exclude Directory

We would like to exclude the SCCM cache directory from backup on every server.  

This is done via the edit \ manage selection lists \ excludes menu.

The path is C:\WINDOWS\system32\CCM\Cache

I’d like to confirm the syntax below.  Please let me know if the path as well as the logic is correct.


PATH

\\*\C:\WINDOWS\system32\Cache\

LOGIC

\\* = all servers
\C: = drive or share letter in question
\Windo… = path

I don't know the Backup Exec Syntax, but maybe you should try:

\\*\C$\WINDOWS\system32\CCM\Cache\

The syntax below will work best of our needs:

\\*\*\WINDOWS\system32\CCM\Cache\
