I have 2 users having the same issue with excel 2007. Regardless if they open a document or open excel and start a new document the application is unusable.

See the attached screen grab, the cells and formats appear to be adjusting them selves to some wired settings that make documents unreadable.

I followed the solution on this link
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Office_Productivity/Office_Suites/MS_Office/Excel/Q_25203727.html?sfQueryTermInfo=1+10+30+excel+reset

but it failed to solve the issue.  Example of issue

Does the same problem exist if they open Excel in Safe Mode (by holding down the Ctrl key while starting the application normally)?

We solved it by an uninstall/reinstall of office 2007 on both WIN7 laptops.

When it comes up again i'll give the above a go.
