Sharepoint and Exchange on a Server 2008

I know that public folders are basically going away and share point is there to replace them. Is sharepoint part of 2008 server r2? Can it be co-installed on an exchange 2010 box? Is the integration of public contacts and phone sync enabled between sharepoint and exchange?

SharePoint foundation 4.0 is part of Windows Server 2008 R2. and SharePoint 2010 is commercial software.
for testing you can installed on same box of Exchange but not for production , it will affect your performance.

Yes there is out of box integration between SharePoint and Exchange .
