Cannot Find Drive D

I have installed a program using a CD.  When I launch the program the error message appears saying "cannot find drive D."  When I cancel the message, the program launches.  How can I stop the error message?

is drive d your cdrom? perhaps it is looking for something on the cd?

Check the properties of your shortcut... maybe set to START-IN D:\
