Recently website php files are having this http erro 500. When I take a look at the error log, this is what I found.
[Unknown: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/local/share/openvpn2/configure) is not within the allowed path(s)...]
The website is hosted on a (dv) mediatemple, I totally have no clue why the server are having this error.

The error message means that your php script is trying to access a file in /usr/local/share/openvpn2/configure and that path is not specified in the open_basedir php configuration directive.

If this just started happening recently then somebody made a change to the php configuration.
Or, the script is now looking for something in the wrong place.

Do you know how I go about checking the php configuration? I feel that it should not be the script in php that is looking for something as it have the same error for all the php files including phpinfo.php
