Outlook Search issue

I have an Outlook user that is experiencing the following issue.
When he does a search in Outlook for anything, there is a large date gap in his results.
For instance, when he searches for board meeting, there is a results gap between 7-27-11 and 12-14-10
I logged into another system as him and did a search and it did not have this large gap in dates when searching.

Outlook is connected to Exchange server.
Outlook is in Cached Mode.

I figured it out.
Answer:  Uncheck "Improve search speed by limiting the number of results shown" under search options in Outlook.
