BESx installation on SBS 2011 require connection to Internet?

I am currently installing BESx on a SBS 2011 machine, in the process of a swing migration from 2003 where all is going well. Wanted to pre-load all the applications on the new SBS and started the installation of BESx using the steps provided by RIM.
The new SBS is not connected to the Internet nor can it be connected to the same network as the original SBS thats currently in production. Wanted to get this installation out of the way so once the swing migration is complete, we can resync the Blackberrys immediately...
I've gotten up to a point of the install where I enter the CAL key, SRP ID and SRP Auth that was provided in an email from RIM however, attempting to click next prompts in error:
“The field for SRP host name must specify a valid IP address or network machine name”

The entered SRP Host name and port are those that was already pre-populated for the install as the error seems as though its trying to verify before it can continue. Clicking Next just re-prompts the error and cannot bypass it.
Wondering if this is because there is no internet connection or anyone know or have completed an install without having it connected to the internet?

It does require internet, as it authenticates back to RIM.

I ran into the same thing in my last swing two months ago.

Thanks for that!
Did you end up completing the besx installation after you've finished the migration?

I did. I just closed out, then post migration- I started it again, and it picked up where it left off. :)
