The dump files are usually located in:

C:\windows\minidump

You can read them by using 3rd party softwares like :

blue screen view  :  http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html

who crashed :         http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed

Good luck

Some softwares require "Windows debugging tools" called Windbg to read the dump files.
You can use "Windows debugging tools" separately to read them but it's a little hard for normal users and it's a big software to download! (About 2Gb) reduced size is (700Mb)!
