We have a 2008 term server with ie8 we need to set the javascript and cookies to enable so all the users can use the browser to acces online information

Option 1) Add your website to the trusted list of sites within each user login.
2) Try to change IE defaults to lower security restrictions.

If the default settings of the "Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration" are getting in the way of the terminal IE8 settings then you can:
* go to Control panel
* Add Remove programs
* Windows components
* de-select "Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration"
* "Next" to continue. It will then uninstall the de-selected item and IE8 will be less secure but easier to use with JavaScript & cookies.
