Sage CRM document plugin

Is the user you are installing the plugin as an Administrator - the use you are trying to install as needs to have access to the following:
[1.] Full access in IE to install Add-ons
[2.] Ability to Enable and install Active X components
[3.] Full access to the windows\system32 folder
[4.] Full access to the windows\downloaded program files folder
[5.] Full Access to the system registry for O/l related registry writes
[6.] Full access on the O.S. for software Installations [as some IT teams may block end users from 'installing software']

Also you may need to tweak the Active X settings on your browser
> Go to Tools à Internet Options, Select Security Tab.
> Click on Custom Level button and go to ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins section.
> Enable both Allow Prompting for ActiveX controls AND Download Signed ActiveX Controls
> Close browser windows and restart browser. Then open CRM and reinstall
Question has a verified solution.
