Hello... I have set up Microsoft server 2008 as a terminal services server. I was planning on installing audio recording software (with the use of a microphone) and push that software to a thin client. Is it possible to record audio through a thin client and have it save obviously on the server. I know I can push audio to a thin client from a server but can I record from a thin client onto a server. I do understand that using citrix presentation will allow for this but I'm hoping just to stick to plain server 2008 and terminal services... Thoughts, suggestions???? If this is possible how do I configure these settings???
Please & thank you

It depends on the OS on the thin Client and the Remote Client being used on it. On a Windows 7 Client you can set what should be redirected (under remote audio you can select Remote Audio Recording). But not all remote desktop clients have that setting available yet. Of course you also have to make sure that Audio redirection is allowed on the server. Of course the thin Client itself must also have a soundcard installed...
