I created a public calendar in Exchange (2003) to allow for tracking customer visits.  The calendar is open to everyone, however I want to control the information that is entered.  Is it possible to create an Outlook form that can be filled out with the requested info (i.e. customer name, company name, phone number, date & time of visit, etc...) and when saved will create a calendar event with the entered data?  I would also like make this the only way to add an event if at all possible.

Hi, DarrinZuroff.

Yes, it's possible to create a custom form and on saving it create an appointment.  You'll need to create the custom form and write some code behind it for creating the appointment on the calendar.  It is not possible to limit Outlook to using the solution to add items to the calendar.

Here's a link to the best resource I know of for creating custom forms in Outlook.
