Using the codeproject source code?

I have this c# crawler from the codeproject.
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/IP/Crawler.aspx

It is c# window app.
It has the copyright statement but it said it is ok to use it.

I removed some of controls I don't need.
When I build it and look at the exe name, it shows up as what I renamed.

But When I build and publish it, the name goes back to the original author's app name.
the source files doesn't have the whole a lot of files.
I can't find the property page which it renames the app name to the original.
Can you tell me how this was done.
Is it because this is copyrighted?

Do I start a new project and reuse this code?

No, you didn't offend me.
I was hoping someone could help me with my issues.
Your post didn't help me much.

As I said this is available in the  codeproject for everyone to use.
Of course I am looking at his code and trying to learn what he did.

I found out that there is a property from the vs solution where you can change it.
It was not some kind of protection from the author as far from my investigation.

Also when I publish it, the setup file crashes.

Hello
1) Open the solution.
2) Read, study and learn.
3) Create your own application from your own head.
4) Respect the work of the original developer.

If you find out how it is protected, you can use the same way to protect your own work in the furure,. When you have been sitting hours and hours creating an application, you can prevent someone else to use your work as theirs :-)

That's my poinion on this :-)
I am sorry if I offended you with this response.
