is there any other reporting tools for server performance on SBS?
There is The "Reliability and Performance Monitor" console under administrative tools, where you can create customized motoring of different parameters, but nothing as simple and informative as the SBS console reporting.

Yes they are generated in html format.

i cant seem to see how to do that... can you help me with instructions on how to do that?
I have never felt a need to use it so I am not much help. It is a fairly lengthy process including creating a data collector set, choosing counters, and and setting up schedules. The link provided earlier has the details as to how to achieve this.
Would it not be simpler to work on repairing the SBS monitoring and reporting?

yes it would but I was just trying to find something to pull up a report real quick.
I figured out what the problem is with the monitoring and repairing feature but I cant figure out how to fix it.
Turns out.. the updates section has been turned off and WSUS has taken over as the primary update report tool. It is telling me to turn off WSUS as the primary and go back to using the SBS console to monitor the updates but I cant figure out how to reverse the change that was done. Since this feature isnt working the reports keep failing when trying to pull the summary report.
Do you have any suggestions?

If you make any changes to the default configuration of WSUS, which is quite alright to do, it disables the WSUS feature in the SBS console, and you have to manage WSUS from the Windows Server Update Services Console. However, this does not stop SBS monitoring and reporting from working. I suspect you have a different issue.

hmm..if i uncheck the summary report and the updates report it runs for each of the other reporting modules.. i thought that was the issue.
Im stumped now..
