Hello,

After I complete my PHP project and deploy it in my client's server, who can I encode my project source code so my client can not copy it to another server or even code not change it.

If there is a plugin or something like for CodeIgniter framework will be appreciated.

First, add code to a global include that says something like:

if($_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']!='www.myserver.com') die ('Invalid Server');

Then obfuscate your code with this:

Thanks for response themrrobert I test it but it did not obfuscate the variables even when I choose that option, so I do not think it is stable. And even more I do not trust it. If there is a desktop tool or steps that I can go throw, that will be help full.

1) Your server question is completely solved by the first part of my answer

2) Whenever possible, try to use double quotes " " to encapsulate your strings, this will help obfuscate the hardcoded strings, and yes that project is not 100% complete, but you are able to trust it.

3) With any obfuscator, be sure to thoroughly test your code to make sure it works before you deploy it. No obfuscator is 100% perfect, and some more complicated routines could possibly become broken, which is why you need to thoroughly test your code.

4) additional obfuscators:

not maintained since 2007
http://pobs.mywalhalla.net/
not maintained since 2003

This is probably the best tool, and closest to what you are looking for:
http://www.seocompany.ca/software/free-encryption-software.html
There are 2 professional-grade tools here, one is 250$ and the other is $199

This is the best option, but obviously you get what you pay for. If you want free, it's going to be buggy.
