XenApp 6 WebInterface and Keyboard Mappings

I'm setting up my new XenApp 6 farm and have the following questions.

1) My web interface is set to the default Full graphics mode. I wanted to change this to low to the web interface will low faster for users. WhenI change it to low the setting never apply is defaults back to full.??

2) I'm not using app streaming and using the Citrix 12 online plug-in. I have one applicatino that require custom keyboard maps. How can I set this up for the one application. Can this setting me made globally for this one application?

1. you can set "reduced mode" and not enable the users to change this within the WI config.
2. you mean the F1 - F12 Key? this can be configured within the default.ica files

Dirk KotteSECommented:
within citrix session some keys are redirected as internal function-keys.
edit the default.ica file (found within you web-directory) to disable tihis mapping.
!!! dont doubleclick the *.ica files -- this start the ica-client and delete this file !!!
for example this file may reside within "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Citrix\XenApp\conf"

look at:

... if this would be aviable again

No matter what I do, I canot force the "Low Graphics" web login interface. it keep defaulting to Full also how can you specifica custom keyboard mapping globally for one application only?

My goal is the make the web interface as streamlined as possible. Users do not need a "High End Graphics" login page. They just need to be able to log in and access their applicatinos. Also for the PnAgent how can I streamline the behind the scenes login process as well. Suggestions???

But what would happen if the client doesn't have the web plugin-in installed? How would they know this needs to be installed.

I'm still confused on how to setup custom keyboard settings for one application

Also do you recommed using the RemoveICAFile setting? What is the pro's / Con's of doing this?

Dirk KotteSECommented:
removing the ica file after the session started is the default setting and i dont change this.
leave the file exis possible result in a message like this "should i realy override the file"; also the file includes some (minor)  security relevant informations.

if the client not installed - the user download the launch.ica file... and call you.
or you give a hint to download the client at the WI-page.

CAn anyone help me with this. I have never setup custom keybaord mappings in citrx before and do not even know were to look in my current enviroment see see what mapping are setup. How can I tell the difference between a starndard citrix keyboard mapping and a custom one. I think the default.ica is only on select users workstations
