How could I install google analytics in a joomla site?, I have the Version 1.5.23

Under Extension menus is only this:

INSTALL / UNINSTALL
MODULE ADMINISTRATOR
PLUGINS ADMINISTRATOR

Is this because the permissions for the user that I have?
