I just ordered a new HP laptop that comes with Windows 7.  It appears they have created a "Contact" control panel which is different from the Microsoft Outlook contact information.  Does anyone know whether or not this contact information will sync with the iPad?
Thanks

Hi.

The iPad (iOS) officially syncs with the following programs on Windows:

- Microsoft Outlook 2003, Microsoft Outlook 2007, Microsoft Outlook 2010 (Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7)

- Windows Address Book
- Windows Contacts

First you should try to sync you iPad with the "Contact Control Panel" that you mentioned, you never know it might work.

If not, export/import the contacts into one of the supported programs mentioned above.
