Squid newbie
Hi,
I configured squid to play around with at home.
The list of adaptations is enorm.
Do you have any tips to configure (it works out of the box) + is there a webbased/monitoring admin possible?
Thanks,
J.

I'm using a Synology NAS, don't know exactly which OS.
Apparently based on based on Linux kernel 2.6 GPL Linux.

There is already a webmin kind of interface so I prefer not to install webmin. However the squid monitor would be interesting ....

You never did say what version of linux you are using?
Also use this page for example configurations dependant on what you want it to do.

I use squid as a transparent proxy for dansguardian (web filter), works really well.
