How do I get the tp-link r470t+ wan router to route https trough WAN 1 only

I'm pretty sure (although not 100%) you need to create an IP filter as follows...

ID                         1
Effective Time       00:00 - 23:59
LAN IP                  192.168.0.1 - 192.168.1.254
LAN Port               -
WAN IP                 <WAN2 IP>
WAN Port              443
Protocol                TCP
Action                   DENY
Status                  ENABLE
