Hi
I set up a website for my son-in-law's compositions. He would like people visiting his site to be able to listen to the music but not download it. The music is stored in mp3 files. I've been googling for a solution but without success. The website is maintained in Dreamweaver and  is all html. At the moment the site is MS hosted but I may be moving it to linux.

I do not mean to be the bearer of bad news, but you cannot truly protect music you make available on your website since the music must be client-side, playing from the web user's browser.  All you can do is give yourself the false illusion that it is protected.  What you can do is make snippets of the music instead.

I thought that was the case. Never mind, you are welcome to the points.
