How do you factory reset a Xerox Workcentre 4250 Printer?  I have a printer that a previous tech set up with the wrong password.  I removed the CMOS and memory from the back and left it unplugged for 20 minutes and came back and it is still locked down.

Thanks,

Tyler

The default password should be 1111, you may want to try that.  Also here is a link to the full manual for the Xerox Workcenter 4250.

Yea the 1111 or any variation doesnt work.  The tech that is no longer with us set it to something completely different.

Any thoughts on wiping it?

Here is a link that is for another Xerox Workcenter model... There is a chance that it may be the same or similar to what may work for your model.
