Banner not showing up on Component Referenced pages

Hello,

I decided to make a template that doesn't involve a header, so that I could put different banners at the top of different pages easily with custom HTML modules.

This works fine, except that when I want to link to something and it goes through a component, then nothing is at the top. Is there a way to assign a banner position for anything that gets routed through a component/content reference page or result clicked on from a link inside an article?

You can go to http://www.dishwitheileen.com and see what I mean if you click on "See all the latest Dish videos" at the bottom.

I tried adding the Advanced Module Manager, but couldn't make that make a banner show up either on those pages.

Thanks for any help.

I have seen those suggestions, but I am not asking about linking to a specific page.  I am asking about when search results happen or component results or linking within an article onto a page.  All of these choices are dynamic and so I need a banner to show up on anything that gets processed through a component.

Do you have an idea on how to do that?

Thanks.

I ended up using the Advanced Module Manager extension and that seemed to work as a solution.
