Best way to deploying a cluster

Hi,
i am doing on a project consisting of 6 equal machines which will be running ubuntu server 10.10. I am looking what is the easiest way to clone/convert the configured machine to other ones.

You can use the command "dd". For example, to clone disks in a computer:

dd if=/dev/sda of=/dev/sdb

But I advise to you a properly tool: Clonezila (http://clonezilla.org/).

This is an EXCELLENT tool for this purpose!

Do you maybe know how they manage bulk installation in large cluster environments?
