Entourage 2008 - Lost mail after web services edition upgrade.
We had a user running Entourage 2008, the regular edition, but we need to be using the Web Services Edition for the Exchange email service we are using.
Part of the reason for Web Services Edition is that mail wasn't synchronizing to the server so there was a bunch of mail on the computer that didn't make it out to Exchange.
Having run into this before I know that upgrading from Standard to Web Services Edition you won't have access to the standard edition identity folder once the upgrade is performed. In anticipation of that, I archived mailbox before upgrading.
Now that I've upgraded, we can connect to Exchange and pull down any mail that was up on the server. When I tried to import the archive or the old identity I'm not getting any of the mail that was on the system only.
Can anyone help me to recover the old email?
Thanks!

Moving from regular to Web Services Edition always means not getting the old local data. Are you saying rebuild the old database?

Rebuilding finally did not help. For whatever reason the import would only import some of the old mail. Tried multiple times and rebuilt and other things, but it always came out the same.
Do you have the enough free space required i.e 3 times of the size of identity. If you have, and still not able to rebuild entourage database properly you can try third party entourage recovery tool. Get free demo version of the tool from http://www.techtwitt.com/entourage-repair.html and check whether it can recover your database. Free version of this tool only previews the recovered components.
Rebuild entourage database using Database utility. if it fails you can try third party tool from http://www.techtwitt.com/entourage-repair.html
