I have the data below - how would I plot it so that each bin shows the total count for the monthly date?

{{{2009, 8, 3}, 18.}, {{2009, 9, 1}, 31.}, {{2009, 10, 1},
  26.}, {{2009, 11, 2}, 30.}, {{2009, 12, 1}, 57.}, {{2010, 1, 4},
  63.}, {{2010, 2, 1}, 55.}, {{2010, 3, 1}, 103.}, {{2010, 4, 1},
  75.}, {{2010, 5, 3}, 237.}, {{2010, 6, 1}, 37.}, {{2010, 7, 1},
  189.}, {{2010, 8, 2}, 267.}, {{2010, 9, 1}, 315.}, {{2010, 10, 1},
  184.}, {{2010, 11, 1}, 139.}, {{2010, 12, 1}, 58.}, {{2011, 1, 3},
  73.}, {{2011, 2, 1}, 74.}, {{2011, 3, 1}, 119.}, {{2011, 4, 1},
  76.}, {{2011, 5, 2}, 142.}, {{2011, 6, 1}, 176.}, {{2011, 7, 1},
  245.}, {{2011, 8, 1}, 927.}, {{2011, 9, 1}, 3.}}

Hi John

You might want to find out how to map functions to lists: http://reference.wolfram.com/mathematica/guide/ApplyingFunctionsToLists.html

In conjunction with a PLOT function like: http://reference.wolfram.com/mathematica/ref/BarChart.html

Sorry for not being much specific but I think a solution might come from there.

Cheers
David
