hi experts,

Is it possible to set a certain wallpaper on Windows 7 Starter Edition? maybe a small software, or a tricky way?
Thank you in advance.

you can do that by opening your hard drive with some boot cd like UBCD

go to %windir%\web\wallpaper\windows\

and you will find img0.jpg

replace that with an image with same dimensions.

%WINDIR% = C:\WINDOWS or D:\WINDOWS or wherever you have your windows folder..

you can do that without ubcd too but you will have to change permissions and blahhhhhh...

the ubcd way is better.

but i will have to note that since microsoft did not allow you it must be considered against the TOS.

cheers
