create Out of office based on the Calendar

If possible, I need to have users oulook create the out of office for the period I put in the appointment.
for instance when user's "PL" personal leave is approved, I will create an appointment and send it to the user with subject PL, then when the user accept the appointment it will enable the Out of office for the period specified in the appointment and write the message " I will be out of office on monday 17th ....and be back on Monday 24th....

I am not sure if there is a script that can do that?

This is not possible within OUtlook itself
You will need a Script, or an Custom OUtlook Action to perform this task

However, I am unaware of Any

I found this script that can be used to extract calendar items from Outlook, this could be modified to get the information you want.

Setting the Out of Office is a little bit more tricky but I did find this post that might help.

where in Outlook, should I program the Action "Accept", so that after clicking on it it willl call the code that will create the out of ofiice message for a specific period.??
