iPhone Sync with Outlook - 2 Accounts

We are going with a hosted exchange service, some of my co-workers use their iphone for both work and personal, I am one of them.  I have outlook on my personal laptop running setup for my personal pop3 email.  I added my work exchange server.  When I went to iTunes to sync, it wiped out all my contacts!  In outlook, both accounts are showing.  How can I set it up so that only my personal contacts are synced to my phone?  In iTunes setting, I only have the option to sync all contacts (only one is listed), and the other options are greyed out.

Hello,

Are you using Activesync to connect to your Exchange account on the phone? Are you using two separate profiles in Outlook for your work and personal accounts? If so, which one is the default profile?
