Hi
I copied / pasted some HTML code into a new module using Custom HTML option. When i publish it after selecting the location I want, the code shows up and NOT the clock I wanted. What am I doing wrong?

You'll want to disable our Editor (User Manager - click your user account - on right side, set it to: Editor - No Editor)..
Then, go back to your Custom HTML module and paste that code into it.. if it's just HTML code,. it WILL WORK .. :) If you are pasting PHP code, then you will need an additional plugin or module, depending upon how you prefer to tackle it.

Let me know how it turns out ;)

Excellent.. glad you found something that worked.. :) As a side note, Joomla is able to display HTML directly through the CustomHTML module.. as long as you enter it into the HTML portion of your editor, or turn the editor off - for future reference :)
