Dear Experts,

Desparate ! Kindly pull me out of here.

The attached file has stopped opening after my system suddenly hung a few days back. Prepared in Excel 2003, Password is 123456.
The last time file was opened properly before getting corrupted, my system got hung for some time and I had to shut the system directly, as it became non-responsive. After restarting when I opened the file, there was a strange thing I noticed about it. In the sheet named "FML" whenever I click on a cell containing validated Lists, the dropdown didn't contained the actual "Validation List". Instead it contained the options we see in the Filter Drop-down like "Sort Ascending, Sort Descending, (All), Top Ten, Custom, and the other items. It seemed as if the Filter Dropdown has overtaken the validation drop-down. To get rid of that I closed the file and restarted it but it started to gave me "read only" message. I closed Excel and then restarted it, but then the problem started. That is all I can tell you about it. Hope you can make something out of it

I'm sorry, but I think this file is really beyond repair. I tried:

- Open Office
- Direct cell link to the file
- Open and repair from 2003 and 2010
- A special tool that can open BIFF files (the fileformat of Excel 2003) and scan the content
None of these were succesful.
