iPad doesn't use WiFi profile

Hi,

I set up a WiFi profile on my iPad. The profile is signed and created by the iPhone Configuration utility. It installed fine. Now when I reset the network settings, I lose my prior wifi configurations but the profile doesn't get deleted which is fine. But I thought the iPad would use the profile to connect to the wifi network that's referenced in the profile. It doesn't do that for some reason.

Anybody can help me find out why or how I can troubleshoot this?

Thanks!

Would you explain what you mean by "Now when I reset the network settings,..."?

What network setting are you resetting and how?

Just trying to understand what you are doing here.

Actually, the network settings didn't match the authentication type of the network. That's why it doesn't try to connect.
